Animals face difficulty finding habitat in urban spaces. The high population and structure of metropolitan cities are both among the many causes. Thus, animals were in a sense, being “trampled over” by humans in this increasingly urban world.

 

This piece takes on this allegory, making a statement by literarily letting people step over the animals.
