This piece is a direct response to the minority status of the Punjabi diaspora in Glasgow through the use of language and street happening. It addresses the issue of visibility by making a metaphoric subversion through the use of a rallying figure holding a Scottish St Andrew’s cross defaced with the word “Here” as written in Punjabi.
